When the order is ready, Jahez calls the customer on their phone with an on-screen alert, sound, vibration and, where allowed, a push notification.
A clear "your order is ready" moment
As soon as staff tap ready, the customer's tracking page changes to a clear ready screen. There is no shouting names across the restaurant and no confusion over similar order numbers.
Alerts even when the screen is off
Customers can allow notifications from the tracking page. Then the ready alert reaches them even if they have switched to another app or locked their phone. How it sounds and vibrates depends on each phone's settings, so the page also shows the ready status clearly when they look.
Fewer uncollected orders
Customers who wander off still get called, and staff can see which ready orders have not been collected yet. Mark an order collected when it is handed over and the queue stays tidy.
